The following individuals serve the people of Radius as paid staff.
As both staff member and founding overseer, Stuart is responsible for helping create, direct, and ensure the overall vision for Radius Greenville. He serves as a primary teacher within all Radius contexts, and he devotes considerable energy to equipping communities in whatever they may need to fully embody Jesus’ church. He does all this through his primary gifting of teaching and apostleship. Few people are as playful and yet intense as Stuart. He, his wife Greta, and their three children have made immeasurable impact on the people of Radius. Jon joined the Radius elders in 2020 following six years of leading a Radius community, several years leading the gathering’s audio/visual team, and over 10 years participating in the Radius Network. Jon has seen the Lord impact his life in transformational ways through the body of Radius. Just as the Lord has matured him over the years and called him to embrace his gifts and leadership abilities, Jon aims to see that same thing happen in those he leads. With a pastoral gifting, he has a shepherd’s heart that desires others to grow in their relationship with the Lord and flourish in the calling God has given them. Jon is the elder for Tandem, Tribe, and Lockstep. He is married to Valerie and has two children, Abigail and Maxwell. Valerie works on staff primarily to support the families of Radius as they raise up the next generation. Her other staff roles include communication, event planning, hospitality, and administrative support for the gathering and finances. Valerie loves a good laugh and is known to linger in conversation if the opportunity is available. Valerie and her husband Jon have two children and live on the Eastside of town. John has been a part of the Radius Network since moving to Greenville in 2015. He leads the Lighthouse community with his wife Hannah, and he stepped into the elder role in 2020. In addition to being married, John has two daughters. On any given night, you’ll find him wrestling, dancing, or riding unicorns with them. John has a strong desire to fight for wholeness in the lives of the people he shepherds through the power of the Holy Spirit. He has a heart to see people grow in their intimacy with Jesus, to understand the calling that God has placed on their lives, and for men to walk in their identity as sons who experience the love of the Father. Blake was one of Radius’ founding overseers. While working as a web developer and traditional artist, Blake has served Radius in a variety of capacities, including community leader, gathering teacher, and musician. He operates primarily from a teaching and prophetic gifting. His desire for himself and for our body is that we would all know God intimately and experience life in relationship with Him, living lives full of affection for Him, preferring Him to all things. Along with so many Bible-lovers in our body, Blake brings an exacting eye to our body’s faithfulness to scripture and sound doctrine. He and his wife Amaris lead the Eliakim community and also serve in prayer ministry to the Radius body. Brent’s primary staff role is Gathering Director, which means he is responsible for the gathering being pulled off each week. He operates primarily out of the gift of operational leadership as he oversees all the different teams and people involved in the gathering. Additionally, Brent oversees the facilities we use and all building projects we take on. He lives in Travelers Rest with his wife Amanda and their two children. Brent disdains texting, will ask you incisive questions to show you how deeply he cares about you, will tell it to you like it is, then give you a memorably strong hug.
